4.5 MW Solar Farm

San Luis Obispo, California

Constructed on more than 18 acres of pasture, this massive solar farm generates nearly 25 percent of the resident organization’s total electricity needs and will save an estimated $17M over the next 20 years. Work completed included civil engineering, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan development and inspections, and construction administration services.

Storm Drain Repairs

Pismo Beach, California

This storm drain project was part of an extensive improvement effort to repair a damaged bluff area at Shell Beach, such as outfall repairs and installation of additional storm drain pipes and catch basins. Work completed included comprehensive engineering and construction management services, including inspections and project management.

Sports Stadium Upgrade

San Luis Obispo, California

FieldTurf replaced natural grass for this large, multi-purpose stadium. Also used in NFL stadiums, the synthetic turf saves about 2.8 million gallons of water annually, plus hours of landscape maintenance. Work completed included design, leveling the existing field, improving accessibility, and installing storm drain and sanitary sewer upgrades.

Public EV Charging Stations

San Luis Obispo, California

40 smart electric vehicle charging stations were installed across two locations in an effort to increase sustainability. Open to all EV drivers with valid parking permits, the chargers provide about 25 miles per charge for every hour plugged in. Work completed included project administration and inspections for ADA and EVCS compliance.
